1. Who provides Owndom

Owndom is provided by:

By installing or using Owndom, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What Owndom is

Owndom is a personal record-keeping tool for your household. It lets you record warranties, insurance policies, claims and obligations, attach documents, and set reminders.

3. Age

Owndom is intended for people aged 18 and over. Do not use the app if you are younger.

4. Your account and your data

Owndom has no user accounts. There is nothing to register and nothing to log into. Your data is stored on your device.

You are responsible for your device and for your own cloud account if you switch on backup. We have no copy of your data and cannot recover it for you.

5. Free tier, trial and Premium

When you first install Owndom, you receive full access to Premium features for a limited introductory period. When that period ends, the app continues to work on the free tier, which limits the number of items you can keep active.

Premium is a recurring subscription. The current price, billing period and terms of any offer are shown in the app before you purchase.

6. Payment, renewal and cancellation

Subscriptions are sold and processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store, not by us. We never see or hold your payment details.

• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless you cancel it beforehand.
• You cancel through your Google Play or App Store account settings, not through us.
• Cancelling stops future renewals. It does not shorten the period you have already paid for.
• Refunds are handled by Google or Apple under their own policies. We can ask on your behalf but cannot grant a refund ourselves.

If you are a consumer in the European Union or Serbia, statutory rights of withdrawal may apply to your purchase. Because the subscription is sold through the app store, those rights are exercised through the store.

7. Reminders and notifications: an important limitation

Owndom can remind you about expiry dates and deadlines. Those reminders are delivered by your device's operating system.

Do not rely on Owndom as your only safeguard against missing a warranty expiry, an insurance renewal, or any other deadline that carries financial or legal consequence. Owndom is an aid to your own attention, not a replacement for it.

8. Backup

Two separate things can copy your data off the device.

Your phone's operating system may back up app data to your own account with the platform provider. That is a function of your device, not of Owndom, and you control it in your phone's settings rather than in the app.

Separately, Premium subscribers can switch on encrypted backup inside Owndom. Your data is then encrypted on your device and uploaded to a cloud account belonging to you. Switching this on does not switch off your phone's own backup, so both may exist at the same time.

The key that decrypts the encrypted backup is stored on the same cloud account. Anyone with access to that account can access both. Securing that account is your responsibility.

We do not control the availability, integrity or continued existence of your cloud provider's service. We are not responsible for backups that fail, are deleted by your provider, or become inaccessible because you lose access to your account.

We recommend that you also keep original documents where you would normally keep them.

9. What you may not do

You may not:

• reverse engineer, decompile or modify the app, except where the law expressly permits it
• circumvent the free-tier limits or subscription checks
• use the app for anything unlawful
• resell, rent or redistribute the app

10. Advertising

Users on the free tier see advertisements. Advertising content comes from third parties and we do not endorse it. Premium subscribers do not see advertisements.

11. Availability and changes

We may update Owndom, change or withdraw features, and stop supporting older versions or older operating systems. We will not remove your locally stored data as part of an update.

We may stop offering Owndom entirely. If we do, we will give reasonable notice in the app so that you can export your data.

12. Warranty disclaimer

Owndom is provided as it is. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for any particular purpose.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by agreement under the law of your country.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss you suffer because a reminder did not arrive, because a deadline passed, because a backup could not be restored, or because data was lost from your device.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for Owndom in the twelve months before the event.

14. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms. The date at the top will change, and where the change is significant we will notify you in the app. Continuing to use Owndom after a change means you accept the new terms.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. If you are a consumer resident in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of that country.
